Game play overview

Draw poker is one of the simplest versions of poker and has a wide following
Each player is dealt 5 cards, then a round of betting takes place.
After the first round of betting, each player can discard cards and have them replaced with new cards from the deck
The number of cards you can discard is determined by the table creator, you will have one of the following three choices:
Draw three - You can draw up to three cards
Draw 4 to an ace - You can draw up to four cards if the fifth card is an ace
Draw 5 - You can replace any or all of your cards
After discarding, another round of betting takes place, then the winner is determined by which remaining player has the best hand.

Playing online

For cash games ,go to cash tables to find an existing gamewhere you can click the table name to join, or you can go to the create table link to create your own game with your own rules
You start out with $10,000 in chips.
Once two or more people are sitting at a cash table, the game will start by dealing out the cards.
There is also another type of game called sit and go.
With sit and go tables, you pay an entry fee, then the top three finishers left with money split the pot 20, 30 and 50 percent, with the 50 percent going to the last person with money.
With the sit and go or sag games as we call them, you sit down with whatever money you paid in the entry fee. When that money is gone, you are out of the game.
The format is all in, which means you can bet up to the entire amount of chips you have at any time.

When you run out of money

If you run below $10000 ,you can generate money by simulating hands.
To do this, go to the simulation table from the main draw poker page.
Once you join, press either f 5 for simulating five card hands or f 7 for seven card hands then enter the number of hands you wish to generate.
You get money depending on how many royal flushes you make.
Initially, you get $1000 for every royal generated with 5 card simulation, and $20 with seven cards.
You are allowed to simulate up to three times per day, however each time you simulate in that 24 hour period, the amount of money you receive for each royal flush is halved.
SO on your third simulation, you only get $250 per royal for five card hands for instance.
If you don't want to hear updates as it simulates, press f 6 before starting the simulation, you will only hear the beginning and results of simulation that way.
The odds of a royal with a 5 card hand are one in about 670,000, so you are looking at simulating millions of hands to get your money up.
The simulation sends its results to the server, so you can check and see how close the random generator is getting to actual poker odds., just go to the simulation results page to see this table

The game interface and hotkeys

I have tried to lay the game out in the most efficient way possible, to that end, you can do almost everything the game requires by placing your left hand on the main keyboard, and your right hand on the num pad.
To hear the cards, use the q w e,r and t keys.
These keys will read each of your five cards
To discard, you can either press number row one through five, or shift q w e r and t keys to select your discards
Note players must discard in order, you can select your cards ahead of time, and then discard by pressing enter when it is your turn to discard
To make a bet when it is your turn, type in the amount you wish to bet and press enter.
C key calls or checks
You can also just hit enter to call or check if you don't raise
F key folds
B or D key reads the current bet
P or x key reads pot amount
H or s key reads your hand value, such as three of a kind, full house, etc.
control T key will tell you how much you are up or down that session
Tab will tell you who has the turn
control r will repeat the results of the last hand
The function keys tell you how much the other players have as well as their positions relative to yourself.
In Sit and go games, the v key will tell you how much time is left at current ante level, and the discard type of the game
In a sit and go game, shift s will start the game if you are the table creator.
If someone is being abusive, cursing, etc. you can send an abuse report by pressing alt control r
To leave your seat temporarily, press alt p
Press alt p again to return to your seat.
Note that you will be folded automatically while you are away from your seat.
If you want to see how many chips you have total in your account, press control A
Shift h will show your hand if the hand is folded to one player
The j k and l keys allow you to play with your chips while waiting for your opponent to call, try them out, just there for fun.
Notice that a few of the keys have two options, such as checking hand with either h or s key.
This is done so you can do all commands with just your left hand without having to reach all over the keyboard.
I recommend trying this out, as it is much more efficient.

Chat and review commands

To send a chat message, press the spacebar to go to chat mode, type your message and press enter.
To review chat messages, press shift and the number row keys, this will review up to 10 messages.
Likewise, to review game messages, press control and the number row keys.
For instance, to review the last raise, you can press control 1
To send an action instead of a chat message, press control plus spacebar
You can also double tap spacebar to send an action

Joining a table

There are two types of draw poker games you can join, either cash games or sit and gos.
By default, the open cash games are displayed on the main draw poker page
There are three sections of cash games, the permanent tables, the public tables and private tables
To jump between the three types, just press h to move between headings.
The permanent tables are always there and ready for action.
The public tables are tables players have created that anyone can join.
Private tables are tables to which you have been sent a private invitation, you will only see the tables here to which you have been invited
To see the sit and go tables, go to the join a table heading, then tabl down to sit and go tables
The sit and go tables are laid out in the same manner, with permanent, public and private tables

Creating a table

One of the coolest features of the Blind Adrenaline card room is the ability to create your own custom tables
To make your own table with your own rules, go to the create a table heading, then tab down to either create a cash table or create a sit and go
For a cash table, you have the following options:
Ante amount
Table type, the options here are no limit, pot limit or max bet limit.
If you choose max bet limit you will then need to select a max bet amount
Time limit, this sets how long a player has to act before they are folded
max sit down money, this allows you to select the maximum amount of money a player can bring to the table, this is good for keeping folks with monster stacks from joining your table and bullying everyone.
You can make the table r rated by checking the mature language option.
Note that r rated tables just means you can curse some basically, don't go overboard with this, this does not mean the table is x rated, nor does it erase the abuse rules.
After setting your options for the cash game, you can decide if your game is public or private by selecting the check box for private if that is what you want
If you want a private game, you will then need to tab down and select who you want to invite from a list of combo boxes.
You can select up to 9 other players to join your table
Each player you invite will be sent an email notifying them about the table.
Additionally, if your table is public, but you want to reserve a seat for a friend, you can select them from the drop down boxes, and a seat will be reserved with their name on it, only that person can sit there
The other seats will be available to all other players however

Creating a sit and go:

The options for creating a sit and go are:
Entry fee. This sets how much each player must put into the pot to join
ante doubling interval. This sets the amount of time between ante doubling
Time limit. Sets how much time a player has to act before being folded.
The options for creating a private table and inviting friends are the same as for cash games mentioned above.

Listening in

Each table has an option for listening.
Clicking on this link will put you in an observation room where you can hear the action and chat with the players.
If you are in the game and do not want to hear the observation room chat, press shift n to turn it off
Like wise, you can press control n to turn off observation room announcements so you don't hear when folks join or leave the observation room.
Finally, you can press the n key to see who is in the observation room

Using your screenreader or SAPI

if you have jaws, window eyes or system access installed, you can switch to your screenreader with the f 11 key
The following are for use with the sapi voice:
To adjust the voice, you hold down the control key and press the keys commonly referred to as the six pack, these keys are usually found above the arrow keys.
Control plus Insert and delete will change the voice volume up and down respectively
Control plus home and end will change which voice you use, this will depend on what sapi voices you have installed on your computer
Control plus page up and down will set the voice speed

Royal flush bonus
