We're going to hold two tournaments on February 25th and 26th, Saturday and Sunday.
Saturday at 3 PM eastern we'll have a Texas Hold 'em tournament, which will be set up in the same style as the World Series of Poker. The Blind Adrenaline software will keep track of all the tournament stuff for you, so all you have to do is show up and play some cards.
The prizes for the hold em tournament are as follows:
3rd place gets 3 months membership to the Blind Adrenaline card room, 1 month premium membership to The Zone and 100,000 Zone BBS points.
2nd place gets six months membership to the Blind Adrenaline card room, 3 months premium membership to The Zone and 1 million Zone BBS points.
1st place gets 50 dollars cash, 1 year premium membership to The Zone and 100 million Zone BBS points.
On Sunday at 3PM eastern we'll have a spades tournament, single player, meaning you will be paired up with 3 other players at random each round.
There will be 2 rounds of 300 points each, then a final table consisting of the top 4 point scorers from the first 2 rounds.
The prizes for the spades tournament are:
4th place gets 3 months membership to the Blind adrenaline card room.
3rd place gets 3 months membership to the Blind Adrenaline card room, 1 month premium membership to The Zone and 100,000 Zone BBS points.
2nd place gets six months membership to the Blind Adrenaline card room, 3 month premium membership to The Zone and 1 million Zone BBS points.
1st place gets 50 dollars cash, 1 year premium membership to The Zone and 100 million Zone BBS points.
In addition, the player that does the best combined in both tournaments will also receive 50 dollars.
The way the combined prize works is, you get 100 points for coming in first in either tournament, 99 for second, 98 for third and so forth.
So for example, if you came in 10th place in the hold em tournament, and 5th in spades, you would have a combined point total of 186 points, 91 plus 95.
The player that has the most combined points after both tournaments are over wins the 50 dollars.
In case of a tie, the money will split.
To qualify for the combined prize, , you must participate in both tournaments, and place at least in the top 50 in both.
In the case of any disputes, management has final decision.
How to register for the tournaments
Each tournament will be open for registering at 2:30 eastern on the day of the tournament.
To register for a tournament, go to the proper page, either hold em or spades, a list of the various game pages can be found at the bottom of every BA page.
Once your on the page, look for the tournament link, go to that page, and click on the register button between 2:30 and 3 PM eastern.
At 3 PM eastern, registration will close, and you can take your seat by clicking on the take your seat button on the tournament page.
The game will launch, and you'll be ready to go.
The actual game action will start about ten minutes after the hour, but you can take your seat anytime between 3 and ten after.

If you haven't checked out Blind Adrenaline, you don't know what your missing.
All of our games are multi player through our dedicated server, and In addition to spades and hold em, we offer draw poker, burnout blackjack, hearts, Euchre, Omaha, and Yahtzee. In other words, this tournament is open to anyone that wants to participate.
If you need to learn hold em or spades, you can come over anytime between now and the tournaments and play in a friendly environment with folks more than happy to answer your questions. Both games can be learned very quickly.
