Q: How do I turn typing interrupt off in jaws to make the games not interrupt when I type?


A: This is a very good thing to do in all games, so you don't miss game play or chat while pressing keys.
A lot of folks don't have this turned off, and end up having to check what was played, check game chat, etc a lot needlesly.
I have created a really quick audio tutorial for this, fire up one of the games, and start the tutorial and you'll have it set up in less than a minute.

Q: I am new to these card games, how do I find out how they are played?

A: I have provided a section of audio tutorials for those folks getting started with the card games, these tutorials will walk you through both the rules of each game as well as the interface for each game, as well as providing some playing tips along the way.. You can find the tutorials above.

Q:How do I join the mailing list for the card games?

A: The mailing lists are an excellent source of information about the games, as well as a place to find others to play with. There are links to each mailing list at the bottom of the instructions page for each game found on the instructions page.

Installing .net framework Almost all computer have the necessary framework already installed with the operating system, but just in case yours is missing or corrupt, here is where to get the framework, just look for the download button on this page:

Q: How do I get others to join my game?

A: You can use either the mailing list or the game message board to post information about your game.
When pposting your info, be sure to include any relevant game information, such as the buy in amount for a sit and go hold em game, and most importantly the date and time of your game. Use eastern standard time for the game time, so everyone is on the same page regarding when to join the game.
For example, if I had a 100 point hearts game starting at 3PM eastern, I would post this:
100 Point hearts game at 3PM eastern, table name is Eat your hearts out

Q: Can I use my screenreader to voice the games?

A: Yes you can if you are using jaws ,window eyes, or system access.
In the game, press f11, this will open up a choice of screenreaders, press 1 for SAPI, 2 for jaws, 3 for window eyes, or 4 for system access.
